Kaastengel or Cheese Shortbread

Ooh yes, this is one of my favorite shortbread.
In Indonesia, owed to its colonial links to the Netherlands. Kastengel is Dutch-Indonesian cheese cookie in the form of stick. The name describe its ingredients, shape and origin, kaas is Dutch word for "cheese", while stengels is also Dutch word for "stick". Tastes savoury and salty.
Ingredients
500 gr pastry flour
100 gr corn flour
200 gr butter
170 gr margarine
200 gr edam or gouda cheese
100 gr parmesan cheese
100 gr cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon bouillon (optional)
2 eggs yolks
1 egg yolks for spread
Directions
Prepare greased baking tray.
Preheat oven to 260 C.
Grated edam cheese and parmesan cheese. Prepare it for dough and also for topping.
Whisk butter, margarine, egg yolks, and salt until it's soft.
Add all flours and cheese."Mix them well.
Form the dough into a rectangle. (Measure: 2 cm x 4 cm , thick: 1cm)
Spread egg yolk on top of each one and sprinkle with grated cheese.
Baked until done at about 170 C for 15-20 more minutes.
Tipps: Make sure that the dough is not sticky on your hand while you're mixing them, if it happens, you can slowly add more flour and keep mixing until not sticky.
